The role of Project Developer has evolved over the past five decades and today has become a key element of project success.
A Project Developer is responsible for project delivery and satisfying multiple stakeholders. As no single entity can be responsible for complex projects, the Project Developer takes responsibility for joining specialized businesses in a consortium and ensuring each member delivers on contracted obligations.
The Development Process

Initial thematic design, best-use analysis, urbanism, appropriate technologies

Advanced financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, stakeholder return analysis, financing structure

03 — Design & engineering
Design and engineering, including required ESG criteria

04 — EPC contracting
Selecting, negotiating, and contracting primary EPC contractors and suppliers

05 — Facilities & offtake
Selecting, negotiating, and contracting facilities managers, product operators, and supply and offtake agreements

06 — Legal counsel
Legal counsel for documenting commitments for each stage of development

07 — Financing execution
Execution of a financing plan, including financial counsel, rating agencies and investment banks

08 — Supervision & reporting
Supervision of project management, project accounting, project audit and reporting
